This is a brief description of the financial aid process.

-Seniors and parents need to apply for a Pin Number prior to filling out the financial aid form.   Apply on-line:  www.pin.ed.gov

-Seniors will recieve information in December from Ms. Bergvig.

The Web Worksheet will be available in mid-December.

-The main materials needed will be your 2008 tax information.

-As soon after January 1, 2009 you will fill out the FAFSA form on-line:  www.fafsa.ed.gov

- After applying you will recieve a SAR (Student Eligibilty Report) from the federal processor. You will want to print a copy and keep on file.

-Colleges and Universities will send award letters to students that have applied to their institutions.  It is at that time the student will accept or decline the offer.
